Paper clips - small but significant

The paper clip is a gem that can be put to some interesting uses :

 

1. To re-set electronic buttons

Some of the electical devices has tiny holes that are difficult to access. To reach these buttons, straighten out one end of a large paper clip and use it to activate the reset button.

 

2. To tag adhesive tapes

Stick a paper clip at the end of the adhesive tape after use.

 

3. As a replacement zipper pull tab

Paper clips can be employed as a quick fix for broken zipper pull tabs. If the pull tab snaps off from your luggage, pencil case or clothing, slip the end of paper clip into the zipper slider and use as normal

 

4. To unlock certain door knobs

This tip is normally work with older generation of round doorknbs with the small keyhole in the middle. Starighten out a large paper clip and gently push into the key hole. Twitch the straightened rod around and simultaneously twist the doorknob to disengage the lock

 

5. To close plastic and paper bags

Tightly fold down the plastic or paper bag and secure the folded segment with several paper clips

 

6. As a hook

Paper clips can be use to hang small ornaments and trinkets.
